Autonomous Semi Technician (Autonomous Trucks)

hirify.global is a technology startup developing Physical AI for commercial autonomous trucks and robotaxis.

What you will do

• Inspect and maintain hirify.global's Class 8 autonomous trucking fleet.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical systems, electrical components, sensors, cameras, GPS, and onboard computer systems.
• Repair or replace faulty vehicle components according to work instructions, manufacturer guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to provide feedback and support vehicle improvements and upgrades.
• Maintain maintenance records, repair documentation, and parts inventory.
• Provide technical support to truck operators and support the company's safety culture.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a technician or mechanic, preferably with automotive, heavy-duty trucking, or technology systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with truck maintenance and repair and proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Technical certification or vocational training in automotive technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• ASE certification.
• Familiarity with autonomous driving technology and vehicle sensors.
