TL;DR
Integration and Test Engineer (Aerospace): Building, integrating, and testing spacecraft vehicles and flight systems with an accent on vehicle readiness, avionics, harness design, and cross-functional systems engineering. Focus on developing test campaigns, managing vehicle budgets and schedules, implementing hardware changes, and operating vehicles in space.

Location: On-site in El Segundo, California, United States

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 per year, plus potential stock options and/or long-term cash awards.

What you will do

  • Develop and own vehicle integration and test campaigns to validate flight readiness.
  • Make technical and programmatic decisions supporting vehicle success.
  • Create, maintain, and execute build and test procedures and schedules.
  • Maintain vehicle system budgets covering power, mass, telemetry, and related outputs.
  • Evaluate vehicle changes and drive their implementation across engineering teams.
  • Own avionics systems, schematics, harness design, and vehicle operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related field, plus at least one year of systems, integration, or test experience, including internships and projects.
  • Hands-on experience building aerospace vehicles and working with hardware in a production environment.
  • Strong technical breadth across electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines, with effective teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds and work while bending, stooping, and standing.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. person under applicable export-control requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience with aerospace subsystems, propulsion, qualification testing, flight testing, or spacecraft operations.
  • Experience with project management across a full project lifecycle or technical leadership on launch vehicle or satellite programs.
  • Programming experience in C++ or Python.
  • Wiring schematics, harness manufacturing, or Unigraphics NX/CAD experience.
