Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Manitowoc, Wisconsin, United States of America; onsite, 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday–Friday, with regular overtime and additional overtime available before shifts or on weekends.

Salary: $32.00–$38.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift premium.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robotic systems, automated equipment, and production machinery.
• Support automation integration involving sensors, actuators, PLCs, robotic arms, and vision systems.
• Install and maintain electrical panels, motor controls, power distribution systems, and building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and compressed air.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, diagnostics, calibration, electrical safety checks, and repairs across mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Fabricate and install custom fixtures and tooling, and respond to maintenance requests across manufacturing and non-manufacturing areas.
• Support production reliability, minimize downtime, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong or functional knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, industrial automation, and robotic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and basic computer literacy.
• Ability to perform physical labor in warm, humid, and varied conditions, including bending, kneeling, crawling, confined-space work, and working at heights.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; welding, machining, and fabrication skills are required in the listed qualifications.
