Maintenance Technician - Industrial Manufacturing Electrical/Mechanical

Location: Onsite at the PCA Box Plant, 112 Edwards Drive, Jackson, TN 38301, United States

Salary: $25.67–$37.20 per hour, based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience.

What you will do

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities in a production environment.
• Respond to equipment breakdown calls and restore machinery operation.
• Work safely as part of a maintenance team.
• Develop multicraft maintenance skills through company-provided training.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Availability to work one of three shifts; shift placement depends on plant needs and seniority.
• Technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is beneficial.
• Experience in corrugated packaging or printing is beneficial.
• Technicians must provide their own basic hand tools; special and heavy tools are provided.
