Gridline Operator

Location: Manitowoc, Wisconsin, United States of America; onsite, 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM

Salary: Starting at $24.69/hour, with the opportunity to earn $30+ per hour within 12 months

What you will do

• Operate the grid oven, washer, conveyor equipment, and tube bender according to operating manuals.
• Assemble partitions and evaporators using fixtures and hand tools.
• Inspect evaporators and perform minor repairs, including torch solder repair.
• Produce evaporators according to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings, instructions, and standards.
• Complete required paperwork and use a computer while lifting and moving tools, parts, and materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of mechanical assembly experience in a physical manufacturing environment and equipment operations.
• Ability to read and use measuring equipment.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 41 pounds unassisted and maneuver fixtured evaporators up to 100 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, team-oriented environment.
• Steel-toed shoes are required on the production floor, and Grid Line Operations certification training must be completed within two months.
