University Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Chicago, United States; extensive travel to core schools is required during peak university recruiting cycles.

Annual base salary: $85,000–$130,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant skills. Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage the full university recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, resume review, interview coordination, candidate communication, offers, and onboarding.
• Build personalized candidate relationships and deliver a seamless, timely, and professional candidate experience.
• Develop creative recruiting strategies to engage university students, strengthen employer visibility, and expand campus reach.
• Represent the firm at on-campus and virtual university events.
• Partner with hiring managers, stakeholders, and Recruiting Coordinators on recruiting, interviewing, closing, scheduling, feedback collection, and onboarding.
• Use applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics to improve process efficiency and campus engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of university recruiting experience, ideally in a technology-driven industry.
• Willingness to travel extensively to core schools during peak university recruiting cycles.
• Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, initiative, and a strong sense of urgency.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Experience using technology, including ATS tools, for recruitment.
