Product Manager (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; in-person in the office five days a week

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Build and maintain product roadmaps aligned with customer needs, market trends, and company priorities.
• Conduct customer research and analyze data and feedback to identify problems worth solving.
• Write PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, integration requirements, testing plans, and validation processes.
• Own features from discovery and scoping through delivery, launch, and iteration.
• Evaluate technical tradeoffs with engineering and make prioritization decisions.
• Identify product friction and edge cases, particularly in payroll and compliance workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of end-to-end product management experience.
• Deep familiarity with AI/LLM-powered product features.
• Ability to participate in detailed technical discussions with engineers about tradeoffs.
• Strong communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
• Experience with product tools such as Jira, Linear, Figma, Notion, or similar.

Nice to have

• Experience with payments, subscriptions, or other go-to-market commerce enablers.
• Experience in payroll, HR tech, fintech, or another regulated and correctness-critical domain.
