Gridline Operator - 3rd Shift

Location: Manitowoc, Wisconsin, United States of America; onsite, 3rd shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday–Friday

Salary: Starting at $24.69/hour plus a $1 shift premium; opportunity to earn $30+ within 12 months.

What you will do

• Operate grid ovens, washers, conveyors, tube-bending equipment, fixtures, and hand tools according to operating manuals.
• Assemble partitions and evaporators and perform inspections and minor repairs.
• Produce evaporators according to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings, instructions, and operating standards.
• Complete production paperwork and use a computer.
• Lift and move tools, parts, and materials using prescribed methods.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, physical manufacturing, and equipment operation.
• Ability to operate a torch for solder repairs.
• Ability to read and use measuring equipment.
• Ability to complete Grid Line Operations certification training within two months.
• Ability to lift up to 41 lb unassisted, maneuver fixtured evaporators up to 100 lb unassisted, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment. Steel-toed shoes are required on the production floor.
