3rd Shift Maintenance Parts Inventory Specialist & Support Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Pennant Buffalo St. production facility in Rochester, New York, United States; 3rd shift

Salary: $24.00–$30.00 per hour, based on skills and experience

What you will do

• Organize, manage, receive, and stock maintenance parts inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, reduce stock errors, and standardize parts organization.
• Spend approximately 75% of working time on parts inventory management and 25% supporting preventive maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility, packaging, and process equipment.
• Execute assigned work orders while maintaining production, employee safety, and food safety standards.
• Support building operations and contribute to manufacturing operational improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of manufacturing, facility, or industrial experience preferred, ideally in food manufacturing.
• Inventory management, receiving, and stocking experience.
• Good command of English in written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer skills; CMMS knowledge is preferred.
• Basic mechanical or industrial knowledge, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and common equipment components.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs, follow lockout/tagout procedures, troubleshoot problems, and prioritize work under time constraints.

Nice to have

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of CMMS.
