What you will do
- Monitor and administer Oracle 19c databases across production and nonproduction environments.
- Perform user, tablespace, export/import, backup, recovery, patching, upgrade, and migration activities.
- Monitor Oracle Data Guard, investigate performance issues, and analyze alert logs, trace files, and performance reports.
- Provide L2 support for Java/J2EE applications running on WebLogic, Tomcat, and JBoss.
- Troubleshoot deployments, connectivity, JDBC, startup, performance, and resource-utilization issues.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, release validation, escalations, and 24x7 on-call rotations.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong Oracle database administration experience, including Oracle 19c, RMAN, and Data Guard.
- Experience supporting Java/J2EE applications on Linux and Windows platforms.
- Experience with WebLogic, Tomcat, or JBoss, including log and stack-trace analysis.
- Spanish-speaking ability is required.
- Knowledge of ITIL incident, problem, change, and service request management processes.
