Senior Database Specialist (Oracle)

What you will do

• Administer and support enterprise database platforms across production and non-production environments.
• Execute database installations, upgrades, migrations, patching, cloning, and lifecycle activities.
• Maintain database availability, performance, security, resilience, and operational excellence.
• Perform backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
• Troubleshoot complex database, infrastructure, and cloud-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, Database Specialist, or Database Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, GoldenGate, and Exadata.
• Experience supporting OCI and AWS database workloads.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills and experience with mission-critical environments under strict SLA requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Core Banking platforms.
• Banking or financial services industry experience.
• PostgreSQL administration experience.
• ITIL-based operations experience.
