Cloud Database Delivery Engineer (Oracle/OCI)

What you will do

• Build and deliver Oracle database environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Implement database infrastructure using hirify.global Environment Modeling and Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code.
• Provision, configure, and integrate database platforms across development, test, and production environments.
• Install and configure Oracle databases on Linux/Unix, including RMAN backup and recovery and Data Guard high availability.
• Execute upgrades, migrations, data validation, cutovers, and integration with middleware and application layers.
• Validate operational readiness, configure monitoring and alerting, prepare handover documentation, and support go-live stabilization.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or other cloud platforms.
• Strong experience with Oracle databases on Linux/Unix, RMAN, and Data Guard.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Git, and scripting in Shell, Python, or similar tools.
• Very good English skills, strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities, and the ability to collaborate across domains and regions.
