What you will do
- Provide escalated technical support for complex customer, application, and infrastructure issues through resolution.
- Install, configure, monitor, maintain, and optimize production servers, software, databases, and external services.
- Monitor system and application health, resource utilization, file processing, scheduled tasks, dashboards, and production logs.
- Analyze logs, database entries, metrics, alarms, and processes to prioritize incidents, identify root causes, and execute corrective actions.
- Support database design reviews, capacity planning, benchmarking, performance improvement, and operational reporting.
- Participate in ticket reviews, user acceptance testing, change reviews, and problem management while communicating status to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, telecommunications, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in application support, technical customer support, problem management, relational databases, programming, or software development.
- Proficient working knowledge of Linux, networking tools and protocols, including DNS and tcpdump.
- Experience with Python, Java, Bash, Oracle, and MySQL.
- Strong analytical, multitasking, troubleshooting, testing, customer service, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical clients and manage complex production issues.
