Controls Technician 1st Shift

Location: Fayetteville, Tennessee, United States; onsite. Schedule: 4 x 10 hours, Monday–Thursday, 4:00 AM–2:30 PM.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automated machinery, robotics, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to production equipment failures to restore safe operation.
• Assist with PLC programming, HMI configuration, servo drives, VFDs, and industrial communication networks.
• Support installation, startup, debugging, integration, and Factory Acceptance Testing of new automation equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve machine performance, reduce downtime, and increase automation reliability through Lean and Kaizen activities.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures, electrical safety standards, NEC, NFPA 70E, and company requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Automation, Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with PLC-controlled and automated systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control diagrams.
• Experience with sensors, relays, robotics, servo and stepper motors, VFDs, and industrial networking.
• Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
