Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Round Rock, Texas, United States; onsite

Salary: $100,000–$135,000 annually, plus bonus

Manufacturing and engineering operations develop sensors, instrumentation, and control solutions for harsh environments and mission-critical applications in regulated markets including nuclear, aerospace, and oil and gas.

What you will do

• Direct and supervise production personnel while managing safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Coordinate labor and equipment planning with Production Supervisors and Production Control.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance on technical, process, and quality issues.
• Monitor production costs and performance data to identify constraints, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Support fabrication of prototypes, tooling, jigs, and fixtures, as well as preventive maintenance and safety programs.
• Lead training, coaching, performance reviews, and corrective actions while reporting improvement plans to senior management.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in industrial engineering or business administration.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in an engineering and manufacturing business.
• Experience in discrete manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP software.
• Strong communication, decision-making, team leadership, coaching, and production project planning skills; ability to lift up to 50 pounds may be required.
