Electrical Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Stratford, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 70,000–95,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement manufacturing methods and operational processes for electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Establish manufacturing process flows, work instructions, and standard manufacturing procedures.
• Review new product designs and engineering drawings for manufacturability before release.
• Build testing procedures and support the evaluation of engineering changes and specification requirements.
• Analyze labor standards, product and project flow data, equipment, and labor requirements to improve productivity and reduce unit costs.
• Act as a technical liaison with program management, finance, design, quality, procurement, inspection, and production teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field; electrical engineering education or background is preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering with an electrical engineering focus.
• Strong CAD software skills for tool design.
• Ability to evaluate, create, and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, documentation, and training.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of brushless DC motors and rotary transformers.
