Focus on developing work instructions, designing tooling and fixtures, conducting process capability and time studies, and resolving production issues for aerospace and defense manufacturing.

Location: Hollister, CA, United States. Onsite second shift, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Salary: $83,400–$155,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead and supervise the second-shift production team while maintaining safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.
  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
  • Create work instructions, process procedures, layouts, SOPs, DCNs, and SWIs.
  • Manage production schedules, staffing, resource allocation, workflow maps, and daily management meetings.
  • Design tooling and fixtures, support capital equipment justification and installation, and estimate production costs.
  • Conduct process capability studies, audits, and time studies while resolving technical issues and eliminating waste.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 2–3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
  • Prior supervisory experience, preferably in second-shift or independent leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • US citizenship or qualifying US-person status is required for contractual and export-control purposes; ongoing employment depends on obtaining necessary export authorizations.
