Manager, Subcontracts (Supply Chain)

Salary: $132,000–$171,600 in Syracuse and Orlando; $145,100–$188,700 in Bristol; $158,500–$205,900 in Quincy

What you will do

• Lead the Subcontracts team, set priorities, allocate workloads, and manage team capabilities.
• Oversee the development, negotiation, execution, and administration of complex, high-value subcontracts and supplier agreements.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Government requirements, including FAR, DFARS, DoD regulations, and corporate procurement policies.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, Finance, Contracts, Legal, and Quality teams on sourcing and subcontracting strategies.
• Establish subcontracting policies, procedures, templates, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support audits and government reviews while leading recruiting, performance management, succession planning, and career development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, operations, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of Supply Chain, Logistics, Contracts, or Material Management experience, or 7+ years with a master’s degree.
• Leadership experience overseeing Subcontracts, Proposal, Buying, or Planning teams.
• Experience with FAR, DFARS, ITAR/EAR, TINA, large DoD subcontracts, contract negotiation, MRP planning tools, and financial analysis.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining a Secret-level security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% in support of Supply Chain objectives.

• Global Supply Chain experience.
• Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems.
• Contracts negotiation, planning, and forecasting experience.
• Knowledge of Jira, SharePoint, or OneNote.
