Supply Chain Manager

hirify.global is a defense startup developing autonomous gun turrets that use computer vision and control systems to detect and neutralize small drones and loitering munitions.

What you will do

• Build and scale supply chain operations covering sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and logistics.
• Identify, qualify, onboard, and manage suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Own RFQs, purchase orders, contract negotiations, demand forecasting, and inventory planning.
• Monitor supplier quality, delivery, cost, and supply risks while driving continuous improvement.
• Oversee inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments, optimizing cost, speed, and security.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, program, and finance teams on BOM optimization, production readiness, material availability, cost tracking, and budgeting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations.
• Strong understanding of ITAR, EAR, DFARS, and other applicable defense regulations.
• Experience sourcing complex components such as electronics and machined parts.
• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage contracts.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
