Senior Subcontracts Specialist, Indirect (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop category strategies for indirect facilities, capital equipment, and services procurement.
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, and senior leadership to understand capital requirements and business priorities.
• Manage RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes, including supplier planning, contract preparation, negotiation, and execution.
• Directly manage suppliers through scorecards, quarterly business reviews, contract compliance tracking, and performance metrics.
• Track sourcing and procurement plans against cost and timeline targets.
• Identify alternative and innovative procurement solutions while challenging requirements and specifications.

Requirements

• Experience negotiating contracts and terms and conditions, specifically AIA Agreements.
• Experience across the indirect procurement process from demand identification through fulfillment.
• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience negotiating contracts exceeding $1 million under tight deadlines.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and work evenings or weekends when required by critical mission milestones.
• Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing due to access to U.S.-controlled export information and items.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business or Engineering.
• Experience with subcontracts, purchasing, or contracts in an aerospace environment.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership.
