Salary: $122,000–$167,000 USD annually, plus equity.

What you will do

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for rocket parts and assemblies, resolving manufacturing and quality issues.
  • Lead new product introduction by selecting manufacturing methods, identifying suppliers, and developing scalable processes.
  • Conduct design for manufacturing reviews and apply APQP, PPAP, FAIR, and 8D methodologies.
  • Manage supplier sourcing, evaluations, corrective actions, and compliance with aerospace quality standards.
  • Create specifications that communicate manufacturing and quality requirements across the supply base.
  • Analyze defect data, lead root-cause investigations, and improve supplier performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related STEM field.
  • 8+ years of experience in supplier quality or supplier development engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, NASA quality standards, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Technical experience with forming, cutting, machining, and assembly of stainless and carbon steel hardware.
  • Experience with PPAP, APQP, FAIRs, New Product Development, and 8D problem solving.
  • Ability to define and own processes from scratch and roll them out to diverse teams.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with high-volume inspection and data-driven acceptance methods.
  • Experience with PLM, ERP, MES, and data analysis.
