Branch Administrator, Wood Gundy-Bilingual (Banking)

Location: Montréal, Quebec, Canada. The work arrangement, including the proportion of onsite and remote work, will be discussed during the interview. Legal eligibility to work in Canada is required.

What you will do

• Manage the administrative and operational activities of the Wood Gundy branch.
• Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and performance management for support staff.
• Manage office equipment, supplies, functions, events, budgets, expenses, and accounts payable.
• Support the Branch Manager and Investment Advisors with transactional banking and investment activities.
• Prepare trade tickets and coordinate communications about new issues, cease trades, and trading halts.
• Maintain client-service standards, compliance requirements, audit readiness, and branch profitability.

Requirements

• Current accreditation and good standing as an Investment Representative with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization Investment Dealer.
• Financial services or brokerage industry experience and knowledge of quotation equipment.
• Strong organizational, administrative, management, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent French and English are required to serve clients in the community.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location in Canada; a valid work or study permit may be required.
