Associate, Premium Edge (Banking)

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

Annual base salary: CAD 52,890–71,470, plus participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

What you will do

• Provide service and support to high-net-worth, self-directed investing clients.
• Explain trading policies, procedures, products, and market information without influencing client decisions.
• Handle a high volume of client calls, resolve inquiries, and maintain service levels.
• Execute purchase and sell orders according to client instructions and applicable CIRO-ID and CIBC ISI policies.
• Review account histories, trading limitations, credit violations, and security checks before processing orders and requests.
• Support outbound sales programs, client relationship management, follow-up procedures, account maintenance, foreign exchange conversions, withdrawals, and reorganizations.

Requirements

• Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook, and DFOL course or CIRO Derivatives Exam.
• Experience in sales and relationship management.
• Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. stock and bond markets, including current conditions and trends, is preferred.
• Fluent English is required.
• Strong communication, customer service, teamwork, accuracy, and compliance skills.
• Ability to adapt to digital tools, changing processes, and evolving technologies.

Nice to have

• Mandarin or Cantonese fluency.
• MBA or CFA accreditation.
