Financial Planning Specialist-Bilingual

Location: Montréal, Quebec, Canada. Work arrangement, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

What you will do

• Prepare tailored financial plans covering retirement, goals, life and wealth protection, milestones and purchases, succession, and tax planning.
• Provide specialized financial planning advice and consultation for complex client needs.
• Analyze clients’ personal circumstances and objectives to develop short- and long-term strategies.
• Monitor economic conditions, financial markets, current events, legislation, and product platform changes.
• Support CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisors with client follow-ups, asset gathering, referrals, and business development activities.

Requirements

• Experience as a Financial Planning Specialist.
• Current CFP accreditation in good standing.
• Fluency in French and English is required to serve clients in the community.
• Strong analytical thinking, financial advising, investment planning, retirement planning, and client service skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.

• LLQP or STEP designation.
