Supervisor Field Services

Location: Albany, New York; office-based with regular in-person meetings. Work from home may be available based on business needs, leader approval, or departmental guidelines. Up to 50% travel for site visits, including outdoor work and driving. Some weekend, overtime, overnight travel, and occasional night work may be required.

What you will do

• Lead a team of 8–15 full-time and temporary mobile operators, including hiring, performance analysis, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee deployment of automated photo enforcement systems across active work zones and maintain operational targets for execution and issuance.
• Create weekly schedules, prioritize workloads, and manage staffing and expenses within budget.
• Conduct field audits and ensure compliance with state legislation, program standards, and service-level agreements.
• Maintain depot and vehicle inventory and diagnose and repair enforcement equipment to support system availability.
• Collaborate with Field Service, Client Service, and Account Managers to improve service delivery and client relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in operations and/or field services.
• At least 2 years of people leadership experience, including work direction, motivation, coaching, feedback, and staff development.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and near moving traffic, climb ladders and aerial lifts, and perform strenuous physical work.
• Good driving record and ability to drive to job sites, potentially hundreds of miles per day.
• Ability to lift or maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and wear required protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in operations management, business management, logistics and supply chain, or construction management.
• Photo enforcement industry experience.
• Experience using Excel and PowerPoint to create reports.
• OSHA or other safety training certifications.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and data-analysis skills.
