What you will do

• Design and develop metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites with tailored thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties.
• Evaluate material systems, additives, processing routes, and material performance limitations.
• Define and execute thermal, electrical, mechanical, and microstructural characterization plans.
• Lead compounding process development and optimization to deliver consistent material properties.
• Scale laboratory formulations into manufacturable processes and support material industrialization.
• Collaborate with R&D, Procurement, Product teams, external partners, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Materials, Physics, Semiconductors, or a related field preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in materials, with 5 or more years preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in circuit protection preferred.
• Experience with material characterization techniques such as DSC, TGA, FTIR, and SEM.
• Expertise in design of experiments and experience with manufacturing process capability development.
• Fluent English required for writing, reading, and conversation.
