Senior R&D Scientist (Materials Science)

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, and execute scientific investigations for innovative new products and improvements to existing offerings.
• Design and run experiments and performance evaluations focused primarily on thermal conductive interface materials.
• Develop prototypes, perform laboratory work, provide technical service, and troubleshoot product and process issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, applications engineering, quality, commercial, sourcing, and supply chain teams to commercialize products.
• Lead projects, deliver results on schedule, and assess quality, feasibility, and business impact.
• Introduce new technologies, identify improvement opportunities, and provide technical guidance and training to multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• PhD, or master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, in Polymer Science, Chemistry, or Materials Science.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, logical thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
• Technical performance demonstrated through relevant projects or professional roles.
• Ability to learn new materials and processes, take ownership, and deliver results.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required, including written, verbal, and presentation communication.
• Proactive, open-minded, collaborative, responsible, and accountable working style.

Nice to have

• Experience in formulation development and Design of Experiments.
• Industrial working experience.
