Sr Director, US Operational Resilience and FUSION

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Salary: $190,000–$220,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and location

What you will do

• Lead a diverse team responsible for operational resilience, business incident and crisis management, business continuity, and governance and controls.
• Develop and maintain the US operational resilience strategy and framework in line with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
• Identify, assess, and manage operational risks involving critical business services, processes, dependencies, and recovery priorities.
• Lead scenario analysis, stress testing, and business impact analyses across approximately 60 business units and more than 185 business functions.
• Coordinate responses to major incidents, communicate impacts and actions to senior leadership, business units, and external partners, and ensure timely recovery of critical operations.
• Direct root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvements supported by industry benchmarking.

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Experience leading operational resilience, business continuity, incident management, and crisis response functions.
• Knowledge of operational risk management, risk assessments, risk analytics, control frameworks, and risk governance.
• Experience with scenario analysis, stress testing, business impact analysis, and recovery planning.
• Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and group problem-solving skills.
• Availability for a regular hybrid schedule with 3 days in the Chicago office.
