Chief of Staff (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site at the CEO's office

Annual salary: $150,000–$235,000 plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Work closely with the CEO as a force multiplier on the company's hardest and most interdisciplinary problems.
• Shadow the CEO across executive meetings, external pitches, interviews, product workshops, and partner and customer visits to build deep business context.
• Identify and solve problems across the business, including operational process improvements, product features, and new business lines.
• Take ownership of increasingly complex and impactful challenges across the company.
• Potentially transition into a specific function, help launch a new business line, or use the experience to start a company.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience doing difficult, high-impact work in areas such as consulting, banking, engineering, product, operations, or company founding.
• Strong analytical ability, comfort with data, and the judgment to combine analysis with intuition.
• Technical mindset and ability to use writing to think precisely and clarify complex problems.
• Ability to move quickly, take ownership, identify weaknesses, and fix problems proactively.
• Intellectual curiosity about building businesses and the fields of finance and technology.
• Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco and work long hours, including some Sundays.
