Operations Director

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Travel is required.

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Direct and implement company policies to meet contractual responsibilities and exceed customer service expectations.
• Manage account costs, revenue, budgets, profitability, and operating expenses.
• Expand business within strategic accounts and negotiate customer increases, schedules, and process changes.
• Oversee operations directly and through subordinate managers, including Regional Operations Directors.
• Develop and implement company goals and strategic vision.
• Lead safety, recognition, training, staffing, performance management, and employee retention programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field, plus 5–10 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to manage contractual operations, budgets, profitability, staff, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with hiring, work assignment, performance evaluations, employee development, and problem resolution.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment and ensure employees are trained on job and safety requirements.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
