What you will do

  • Generate and analyze transmission electron microscopy (TEM) metrology data for semiconductor manufacturing process control.
  • Provide critical-dimension TEM data to support integration, module, inline defect metrology, and yield analysis partners.
  • Collect and analyze large-scale dimensional metrology datasets from images.
  • Develop automated metrology software and optimize front-end and back-end dataflows.
  • Apply statistical data analysis, image processing, and structured problem-solving methods.
  • Collaborate with tool owners, operation technicians, data analysis engineers, and manufacturing process engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, data science, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • At least 2 years of technical experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, design of experiments (DOE), statistical process control (SPC), or structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience using Python, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau for manufacturing or engineering data analysis and visualization.
  • Basic electron microscopy knowledge and strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, on the day shift.

Nice to have

  • Three or more years of relevant industrial experience.
  • Experience with Python and OpenCV for data extraction, filtering, and end-to-end automation pipeline development.
  • Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, computer vision, or AI-based engineering projects.
  • Experience with Git, REST APIs, front-end or back-end development, database design, or cloud-based applications.
