Senior Technical Product Manager (AI Content Operations)

Salary: $140,000–$221,000 per year; expected OTE of $156,000–$245,000 per year, including bonus or commission.

What you will do

• Own the AI content operations product roadmap, deciding what to build, buy, or discontinue.
• Embed with marketing and learning teams to understand content workflows and identify high-value automation opportunities.
• Ship AI-powered tools for metadata generation, document-to-CMS conversion, content review, quality checks, research assistance, and asset generation.
• Build functional prototypes independently to validate concepts before engineering investment.
• Drive adoption by integrating tools into daily content workflows and measuring usage.
• Partner with engineering and the Sanity platform investment to connect CMS, analytics, model providers, and internal services.

Requirements

• Experience with modern content operations, including content calendars, review and approval, SEO, localization, and asset management.
• Deep familiarity with headless CMS architecture; Sanity experience is a strong plus.
• Comfort with Node, TypeScript, modern web frameworks, and independently building simple web applications and prototypes.
• Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor and working with model APIs.
• Ability to evaluate, prompt, and integrate LLMs into real workflows and collaborate closely with engineering.
• Experience shipping internal tools and reasoning about multi-system architecture and long-term design tradeoffs.

Nice to have

• Background as a product manager, solutions architect, solutions consultant, engineer, or content management and operations specialist.
• Practical opinions about where AI is useful in content workflows and where it is not yet effective.
