Production Planning Supervisor

A global engineering and manufacturing business developing sensors, instrumentation, and control solutions for harsh and mission-critical environments, including nuclear, aerospace, and oil and gas markets.

What you will do

• Lead and supervise the production planning team responsible for integrated production schedules.
• Coordinate production planning across multiple programs, product lines, and manufacturing operations.
• Align customer demand, MPS, MRP, materials, and production execution activities.
• Lead daily production reviews, schedule escalations, and collaboration with Operations, Program Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
• Manage short- and long-range capacity planning, inventory optimization, supplier collaboration, and material-flow improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, scheduling accuracy, ERP/MRP optimization, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Significant experience in complex production planning and/or master scheduling.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; nuclear, defence, or aerospace manufacturing experience is desirable.
• Advanced understanding of ERP/MRP systems, including bills of materials, inventory, work in progress, and manufacturing routings.
• Expertise in data analysis, operational reporting, and capacity planning.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio, with strong organizational and leadership skills.

• Familiarity with RoHS legislation.
