Senior Production Planner, Development Programs (R5277)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production schedules for prototype aircraft, major assemblies, and integration activities.
• Translate engineering releases, build priorities, and program milestones into executable manufacturing schedules.
• Release and manage work orders for evolving aircraft configurations, bills of material, and incomplete engineering definitions.
• Coordinate schedule changes caused by engineering revisions, material constraints, and shifting program priorities.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and create schedule recovery plans for build, integration, and flight test milestones.
• Align material availability with build requirements and maintain ERP/MRP planning accuracy and configuration control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, production control, or supply chain operations.
• Experience supporting complex hardware, aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, or other highly engineered products.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Costpoint, or similar.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, work orders, bills of material, and production scheduling.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with prototype, NPI, or developmental manufacturing programs.
• Experience in UAV, aerospace, defense, or aircraft production environments.
• Familiarity with engineering change management and configuration control.
• APICS CPIM certification.
