Production Planning Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Master Production Schedules across production and processing programs, aligning builds with milestones and on-time delivery requirements.
• Lead planning for program hardware builds from procurement through delivery and facilitate cross-functional production planning reviews.
• Own capacity planning, make-or-buy decisions, scenario modeling, build sequencing, and resource allocation.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, delays, and other risks affecting critical paths.
• Integrate planning activities with ERP, MRP, and MES systems while maintaining configuration integrity.
• Track production KPIs, create dashboards, analyze production data, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of production planning or project management experience, preferably in aerospace.
• Experience with manufacturing, assembly, and testing of critical hardware.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and GD&T interpretation, plus strong knowledge of MS Project or Primavera.
• Experience with Siemens Opcenter, Teamcenter, or Costpoint is highly preferred.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency and ability to complete a U.S. government background investigation are required. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when needed for critical milestones.

• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Siemens Opcenter, Teamcenter, or Costpoint.
