Software Engineering Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support day-to-day IT needs for an assigned business segment.
• Build relationships with business and technology delivery partners.
• Help develop technology strategy, planning, funding, and delivery for products and services.
• Lead end-to-end technology project execution, including resource planning.
• Coordinate scope, execution plans, release readiness, change management, production support, controls, and business continuity activities.
• Maintain financial transparency across IT initiatives and base operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience with backlog refinement, sprint planning, delivery execution, dependency management, risk identification, impediment removal, and delivery metrics.
• Strong Agile delivery leadership and technical project management skills.
• Experience coordinating with product, technology, risk, vendor, and enterprise partners.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, client management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience working successfully in a large organization and managing a changing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Capital Markets and Specialty Banking technology teams.
• Azure DevOps, Agile ceremonies, ServiceNow and change processes.
• Continuous Delivery environments using DevSecOps principles.
• Application modernization, migration, cloud architecture, and cloud adoption experience.
• Technology-enabled innovation experience.
