Manager, Software Engineering Product Manager

Location: Hybrid in Columbus, Ohio; office attendance required two days per week on Mondays and Tuesdays

Salary: $118,000–$178,000 expected starting annual salary range; national range up to $222,000

What you will do

• Lead software engineering product management across the Investment Management Group, hirify.global Securities, Securities Backed Lending, and hirify.global Retirement Institute portfolios.
• Drive strategic planning, financial governance, business case development, prioritization, and portfolio evaluation across multiple business lines.
• Champion product-centric delivery, agile practices, DevSecOps, observability, resiliency, and predictable engineering outcomes.
• Manage application suite roadmaps, total cost of ownership, application health, delivery availability, and ongoing operational support.
• Oversee secure software and systems engineering practices, risk mitigation controls, and internal and external audit support.
• Hire, coach, and develop a team of five or more technology professionals while partnering with senior business, engineering, architecture, SRE, and portfolio leaders.

Requirements

• Six years of experience in application suite management.
• Four or more years leading multiple teams across multiple technologies.
• Experience building engaged teams and providing coaching and career development.
• Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle, modern engineering methodologies, project delivery, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ability to develop technology roadmaps, make sound decisions, solve complex problems, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
• Undergraduate studies in management information systems, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or comparable education and experience are preferred.
