What you will do

• Lead engineering teams in delivering core BRx Platform capabilities, shared frameworks, and integration patterns.
• Drive platform modernization to simplify client integration across multiple backend engines.
• Partner with product management, architecture, and business stakeholders to define roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality delivery through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Manage performance, staffing, and talent growth for a team of 5–20 software engineers and SDETs.
• Own application implementation, service-level objectives, and the L3 on-call support rotation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering management.
• Experience leading teams of approximately 5–20 engineers and SDETs.
• Ability to conduct code reviews and contribute to the codebase when necessary.
• Must be based in Newark, NJ.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Kafka, Camunda, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
