Head of Operations (Energy)

hirify.global builds private transmission networks using HVDC technology to connect large power users with generation faster, more flexibly, and at lower cost than behind-the-meter colocation. Initial customers include AI data centers serving hyperscalers and frontier research labs.

What you will do

• Build the company operating cadence, including leadership meetings, all-hands, goal tracking, board logistics, and cross-functional project management.
• Own internal systems and tooling, including CRM, knowledge management, IT, data hygiene, and AI tools.
• Manage offices, the R&D site, insurance, vendors, contracts, subscriptions, and company offsites.
• Build recruiting and TalentOps infrastructure, including Ashby ATS, interview processes, scorecards, funnel reporting, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Develop marketing strategy, manage external PR, brand, design, website, events, and communications partners, and oversee conferences and hosted events.
• Partner with leadership on headcount planning, compensation bands, budgeting, SOC 2, business continuity, and knowledge management.

Requirements

• Experience as a scrappy startup operator, chief of staff, or business-operations leader.
• Strong prioritization, judgment, resourcefulness, and a bias toward action.
• Ability to build practical systems and processes that teams consistently use.
• Experience establishing functions from scratch and managing external partners.
• Ability to connect engineering, business development, finance, candidates, and partners across functions.
• Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco or New York City.
