Portfolio Manager - Healthcare

Location: Nashville, TN, United States; office-based

Salary: $70,000–$140,000 annually, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with credit policies.
• Monitor an assigned healthcare loan portfolio, identify emerging risks, escalate concerns, and maintain accurate risk ratings.
• Administer the portfolio, including delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base and covenant compliance, and product renewals.
• Participate in client calls with Relationship Management and other banking partners.
• Research healthcare industry and market trends and maintain current market knowledge.
• Review and negotiate credit documentation with legal counsel and support training of analysts and associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in underwriting or a commercial banking environment.
• Professionalism and strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to collaborate with Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Capital Markets, Treasury Management, and other product partners.

Nice to have

• Formal credit training.
• Experience in the syndicated loan market.
• Proficiency in S&P Capital IQ.
• Healthcare or middle-market underwriting experience.
