Associate Director - Diversified Industries, Portfolio Management (Commercial Banking)

Salary: $70,000–$140,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with credit policies.
• Monitor an assigned portfolio, identify emerging risks, escalate concerns, and maintain accurate risk ratings.
• Manage portfolio administration, including delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base and covenant compliance, and product renewals.
• Collaborate with Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Capital Markets, Treasury Management, legal counsel, and other product partners.
• Attend client calls, conduct industry and market research, and maintain current knowledge of market trends.
• Support training and mentoring for Analyst- and Associate-level colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of underwriting experience in a commercial banking environment.
• High professionalism and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to review and negotiate credit documentation in consultation with legal counsel.

Nice to have

• Formal credit training.
• Experience in the syndicated loan market.
• Proficiency in S&P Capital IQ.
