Corporate Banking Director, Portfolio Management (Fintech)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; office-based

Salary: $93,000–$189,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with Huntington credit policies.
• Manage and monitor an assigned commercial loan portfolio, identifying emerging risks and escalation needs.
• Administer portfolio requirements, including delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing bases, covenant compliance, and product renewals.
• Collaborate with Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Capital Markets, Treasury Management, and other product partners to optimize client relationships.
• Review and negotiate credit documentation in consultation with legal counsel.
• Provide credit guidance and mentor Analyst, Associate, and Associate Director colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of experience in commercial loan underwriting or a commercial banking environment.
• Strong professionalism and attention to detail.
• Ability to research industry and market trends and apply knowledge of credit policies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Nice to have

• Formal credit training.
• Experience in the syndicated loan market.
• Proficiency in S&P Capital IQ.
