DC Ops Technician V - US

Location: Onsite in Ashburn, Virginia, US

Salary: $79,619–$106,090 per year, depending on geographic market, knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include annual bonuses or incentives, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

What you will do

• Monitor and prioritize internal tickets while providing customer support.
• Troubleshoot operating systems, storage, servers, and hardware, including RAID configuration changes and upgrades.
• Support servers running Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Server, Ubuntu Linux, and VMware ESX Server.
• Install operating systems through PXE, configure network IPs, apply firmware updates, and perform basic system administration.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and security appliances.
• Install DAS and NAS storage hardware, mount equipment in cabinets, and complete customer maintenance requests and cabling.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen and have authorization to work in the United States.
• At least eight years of experience working in a data center environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to build, repair, and upgrade hardware components.
• Strong understanding of storage RAID configurations and requirements.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds overhead.
