What you will do

• Analyze network, compute, and storage hardware to recommend procurement, removals, and modifications.
• Perform daily data center rounds to monitor infrastructure and coordinate responses to operational incidents.
• Support system infrastructure build-outs, including cage builds, overhead installations, and rack and stack.
• Develop hardware installation schedules and prepare Technical Design Packages and test plans.
• Manage system inventory and optimize the flow of parts through their entire lifecycle.
• Conduct site surveys to assess and document current network configurations and user requirements.

Requirements

• Must possess active TS/SCI Poly clearance.
• Experience configuring, deploying, and managing hardware infrastructure in data center environments.
• Expert knowledge of hardware, lifecycle management, and optimization.
• Experience with workflow orchestration/automation tools and virtualizing platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and network issues with high attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud vendors such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and hardware vendors like HP/Dell.
• Knowledge of server virtualization (VMware, Red Hat Virtualization, Oracle VM).
• Certifications: CompTIA (A+, Network+, Server+), Cisco (CCNA, CCDP), or Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE).
