Systems Administrator - Desktop Services

Location: Onsite at the customer site in Edison, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 base salary annually; estimated OTE is $70,000–$100,000.

What you will do

• Support Unified Endpoint Management solutions for device configuration, software deployment, patching, and endpoint compliance.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, AWS, VMware, and related infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, groups, and system security settings.
• Monitor system health, performance, backups, alerts, and security events.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, endpoint, and application issues while supporting end users.
• Assist with cloud, virtualization, endpoint, infrastructure, migration, documentation, and technology implementation projects.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent IT systems administration experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in systems administration or a related IT support role.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, and a UEM platform such as Microsoft Intune, Ivanti, or Workspace ONE.
• Basic competence with AWS, VMware, cable matrices, structured cable routing, IP addressing, UPS hardware, SAN storage, and enterprise storage solutions.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification required.
• Ability to work onsite at the customer site in Edison, NJ, including weekends and flexible hours. Ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• PowerShell or other scripting and automation experience.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, VMware VCP, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, or endpoint management certifications.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, patch management, endpoint compliance, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and business technology systems.
