VP, Software Engineering (AI)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $206,500–$324,500 per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Own operational excellence for the core hirify.global platform, improving reliability, scalability, security, and delivery predictability.
• Improve the software delivery lifecycle through better planning, tooling, processes, reporting, and efficiency metrics.
• Partner with Product to define and deliver scalable, trusted AI capabilities across the hirify.global product experience.
• Advance AI-assisted and agentic development practices across engineering and establish measurable operating standards.
• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing, globally distributed engineering organization, including the R&D hub in Bulgaria.
• Partner with Product, UX, Customer Experience, and go-to-market leadership on platform and product strategy.

Requirements

• 15+ years of engineering experience, including 8–10+ years in senior leadership roles at VP or equivalent level.
• Experience leading engineering for mature, at-scale SaaS or enterprise software platforms.
• Proven results improving delivery predictability, reliability, throughput, and operational efficiency.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled products or platform capabilities and applying AI-assisted or agentic tooling in engineering.
• Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams across multiple sites and time zones.
• Strong executive presence and experience influencing leadership teams and board-level stakeholders.

• Deep understanding of low-code/no-code ecosystems, integrations, and workflow orchestration.
• Experience evolving mature platforms while supporting new product and technology opportunities.
