General Manager (Cannabis Retail)

Location: Springfield, Missouri, United States; onsite dispensary role

Salary: $58,000–$62,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee daily dispensary operations, including opening and closing, cash handling, deposits, facility upkeep, scheduling, and payroll responsibilities.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance reviews, employee engagement, and team communication.
• Drive revenue, sales goals, customer service, promotions, loyalty initiatives, and store KPIs.
• Manage inventory intake, reconciliation, stocking, product expiration, online menu accuracy, and loss prevention.
• Maintain compliance with state cannabis regulations, company policies, METRC processes, and internal inventory controls.
• Coordinate with HR, operations, IT, facilities, compliance, systems, and marketing partners on store needs, events, promotions, and technology-enabled customer services.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, service, or cannabis-related industries.
• 2–5 years of customer service experience.
• Experience in people management, culture building, cash management, and inventory management.
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, logic, adaptability, and flexibility in working hours.
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in place of a degree.
• Ability to clear a background check.

• Cannabis industry experience.
• Experience with Dutchie POS.
• Experience with METRC Seed-to-Sale.
• Microsoft Suite experience.
