Cafe Manager (Coffee)

What you will do

• Lead, train, coach, mentor, and recruit cafe team members.
• Create staff schedules, cover staffing gaps, and approve timecards and paid time off requests.
• Maintain coffee, food, beverage, safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
• Manage ordering, vendor relationships, waste, inventory counts, and compliance systems.
• Spend 50–70% of the week leading by example behind the bar through customer service and product preparation.
• Drive store engagement, sales goals, average order value, operational performance, and local brand loyalty.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing and leading single-store operations in hospitality or consumer brands.
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing hospitality teams.
• Experience managing inventory and supply chain ordering.
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso, and equipment.
• Strong decision-making, multitasking, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Full-time availability for 45 hours per week, five days of availability, and two peak days, usually Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
