TL;DR
Sr HR Business Partner - U.S. Company Operations (Michigan) (HR Business Partnership): Supporting approximately 50–60 restaurants and 1,500 employees through strategic HR partnership, staffing, talent development, employee relations, and human capital reporting with an accent on workforce planning, compliance, and operational performance. Focus on building talent pipelines, managing employment investigations, developing succession plans, and translating people data into actionable recommendations.

Location: Michigan 48933, United States. The role is primarily performed at hirify.global restaurants or designated field locations; remote work is permitted when not working at a hirify.global location, subject to managerial approval and business needs. Travel: 50%.

Salary: $81,000–$138,000 annually, plus a target annual bonus of 10% of base salary.

What you will do

  • Partner strategically with the Director of Area Operations and District Managers supporting approximately 50–60 restaurants and 1,500 employees.
  • Design and execute staffing, recruiting, retention, onboarding, and workforce-planning strategies.
  • Facilitate succession and bench planning, identify talent gaps, and support development plans for key employees.
  • Advise leaders on employee relations, conduct, performance issues, workplace concerns, and employment-related investigations.
  • Support HR policies, compensation and benefits programs, engagement surveys, leadership assessments, and people-leader training.
  • Analyze and deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and on-demand human capital reports with actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in business, human resources management, or a related field.
  • Preferred 3–5 years of human resources experience.
  • Knowledge of recruiting, succession planning, employee development, employee relations, EEO administration, leave requirements, workers' compensation, and labor laws.
  • Strong communication, organization, planning, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict-resolution, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information, conduct employee investigations, work independently, and use applicable HR hardware and software from remote locations.

Nice to have

  • Classroom training and talent development experience.
  • Experience in multi-location environments.
  • PHR or another related professional designation.
