Associate Business Manager (Trading)

Location: Chicago office, United States

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annual base salary, plus an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Manage the assessment and implementation of new trading initiatives and trading access changes.
• Coordinate onboarding and decommissioning of traders, exchanges, products, execution systems, clearing firms, and related counterparties.
• Gather data, define initiative scope, communicate requirements, and manage projects through completion.
• Support exchange relationships, including new product launches, rebate and incentive programs, and exchange onboarding.
• Act as a point of contact for traders on trading-related inquiries.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience working in a trading environment, such as front office, operations, risk, compliance, business analysis, project management, client services, or administration.
• Experience onboarding clearing firms, prime brokerage relationships, exchanges, rebate programs, counterparties, and execution systems.
• Previous project management experience and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Experience coordinating with teams across the US, Europe, and Asia.
• Understanding of regulatory, tax, risk, treasury, capital, and legal factors affecting new business initiatives.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to work with changing priorities.
